Poverty: In the Republic of the Philippines

       Based on the statistics of Worldometer, the Philippines have 113,122,240 as of December 8, 2022. From this, we can see that we are a very populated country wherein, we face the societal problem of "Overpopulation", also within this problem, we are experiencing Poverty. According to PSA 19.99 Million Individuals, lives belong Poverty Threshold. With this Poverty, many insufficiencies are being shown in every family, especially in the hygiene and sanitation of their home. A lot of variety of diseases and deficiencies are being obtained by many people such as Dengue, Malnutrition, etc. which only makes the situation to be more difficult.

       Sanitation and Hygiene is a must for everyone, we must maintain cleanliness in our surrounding to avoid different kinds of things that might harm us. However, this sanitation and hygiene are not afforded by everyone. People who are underprivileged sometimes experience poor sanitation and hygiene which shows that poverty is a hindrance to Clean sanitation and Hygiene.
